This EasyDriver stepper motor driver module makes precision control a breeze. All you need is a 4-wire bipolar stepper motor (or modified 6wire), a microcontroller or development board such as an Arduino UNO, and a 7-20V power supply to get going. Since this driver module is extremely popular within the maker community, there are endless guides, forums and tutorials online to help you along should you be a beginner or need any help.
The module defaults to 8 step microstepping mode, which means you would get 1600 steps per revolution if you are using standard 200 step/rev Stepper Motors. This can be changed using the MS1 and MS2 pins if another microstepping mode is required (see resources below). The board is based on the Allegro A3967 driver chip and full specifications on the design can be found below. Adjustable max current from 150 – 700 mA/phase is possible and it can take a maximum motor drive voltage of 30V. An on board 5V regulator means you only need a single PSU to power the module and your stepper motor, with the added benefit of an extremely affordable price.
