10 Test Hook Jumper Leads

Building circuits from scratch is always fun, and if you’re lucky, sometimes they even work the first time you plug them in! However, this isn’t always the case, and because we Makers know this, we understand how important it can be to test and measure your circuitry while Prototyping it all up. This handy 10 Test Hook Lead Kit is the companion for just that, as these allow you to clip directly onto tiny wires and tiny pins on Components, so that you can test, measure, scope and otherwise analyse your circuits without ever causing shorts – or exciting fireworks displays of sparks.

This set is comprised of 10 wires in a ribbon strip format, with standard female jumper connectors on one end and test hooks on the other. This allows you to connect directly into circuits, as the test hooks have tiny retractable grabbers that can snugly clamp over precise points, such as the leg of a capacitor or one side of a resistor, and then conveniently connect it into Arduino Boards, testing devices or other modules and platforms. This makes it ideal for not only testing purposes, but also for ultra-easy temporary connections while you’re experimenting with what might work, where certain components might need to be, as well as a host of other variables.

Of course, just because they come in a ribbon cable style it doesn’t mean that you have to keep them that way, and we often like to break out a set of two of them together to use as easy power connectors, and then split the remainder into various other sets for common Sensor Modules and other things we use relatively often. This way, you can get even more value out of these inexpensive but awesome test hooks, while enjoying more efficiency and freedom when you’re prototyping your next amazing project.
