A hard reset is usually necessary to fix any locked-up peripherals connected with a full power cycle, but the RTC WatchDog HAT will act as a power manager and protect your Raspberry Pi from software freezes by triggering an automatic warm boot if your computer fails to respond after a certain amount of time.

Any Raspberry Pi with a 40-pin connector is compatible with the RTC WatchDog HAT which is easily powered through a USB Type-C connector and includes a backup CR1220 battery holder for accurate timing even if there is a power loss.
