TS100/TS101 Soldering Tip - BC2 Rounded Bevel Tip

This TS100/TS101 Soldering Tip is a BC2 Rounded Bevel Tip, which means that instead of a sharp, pointed tip like many standard Soldering Irons have, this tip features a flattened edge at a 45° angle. This makes it a great choice if you want to do drag soldering, or if you’re replacing moderate to large components with a lot of spare PCB space around them. The flattened edge helps to transfer high levels of heat to the PCB and component, although the relatively small diameter makes it useful for a broad range of different sizes too.

The tip replacement process is really easy for the TS100and TS101, and you simply have to loosen a small grub screw unit above the installed tip, remove the tip, insert whichever tip you would like to use, tighten up the grub screw again, and then BLAM! You’re ready to solder again with your new tip style.
