Waveshare SC15 17kg Serial Bus Servo Motor – 180°/360°

Hobbyists tinkering with robotic arms and scuttling hexapods know the excitement of integrating mechanical movements with electronics. These Waveshare SC15 Servo Motors provide a powerful piece of the puzzle with programmable serial bus servos that can theoretically connect 253 servos in a series.

An individual Waveshare SC15 Servo Motor pulls with a high 17kg torque at a full 8.4V and provides two-way feedback with the ESP32 motor driver board. As the servo provides various information on position, load, speed and input voltage, the motor driver will interpret and respond to each motor in real time. With a powerful MCU pulling the strings, you can program your SC15 Servo Motors to create a smart responsive robot with multiple limbs and moving parts.

Each SC15 Servo Motor offers two modes: 180° angle control or 360° continuous rotation, which doubles their application capabilities. These servo and motor modes give you complete control over a single servo motor in your series. You might wish to restrict one motor to precise movements to place an object down while another motor spins freely to pull it on a pulley system. Advanced projects may even see one motor switching between these modes in mid-operation.
