Water is one of the most valuable resources when it comes to survival on this wide beautiful planet. Most living things, including humans, desperately require a constant supply of fresh clean water. Frequent hikers and campers know that any water source needs proper preparation to ensure its purity level meets safety standards before drinking it. There are many methods for testing your water, even though the liquid might look clear to our eyes. One of the quickest ways is to utilise electronic Sensors, like this Analog ORP Pro Sensor, to measure your water source and ensure it is healthy and ready for effective use, drinking or swimming.

The Analog ORP Pro Sensor is an upgraded version of our Analog ORP Sensor from the Gravity series and offers a more advanced ORP probe with new signal converters. These improvements help you create an ORP monitoring system with more stable sensor readings and durability. The probe features platinum indicator and silver-silver chloride reference electrodes which allows for 24-hour online ORP monitoring. The Analog ORP Pro Sensor no longer affected by supply voltage fluctuations so that the readings are reliably stable.

Compatible with your Arduino projects, the Analog ORP Pro Sensor identifies the oxidation reduction potential within water, effectively determining if it meets a specific criteria. These criteria can either pertain to potential health effects of drinking water in dams, rivers or local supplies, or the chemical composition in bodies of water like swimming pools and reservoirs, as these sensors are capable of measuring the level of oxidisers within the water to identify patterns, averages and safe or dangerous conditions. Connect the Analog ORP Pro Sensor to your Arduino Uno and enjoy its wide range of applications from on-the-go water sensors for hikers to industrial safety equipment.
